I’ve officially been living in SC for a over a month! It has been so busy that I haven’t had much of a chance to focus on David being gone, which has been really nice. It’s weird not having him around cracking jokes constantly, but he’s doing great things while he’s deployed and we’re getting to talk a good bit. On top of that, my parents have been incredibly supportive and living with them keeps me from getting too lonely. Overall, I have a lot to be thankful for!
During my third weekend here, my mom and I were part of a Vintage Market pop-up shop in my hometown of North Augusta, SC. It was a lot of hard work getting things set up and ready, but so much fun! I really appreciated the other vendors including me, and seeing locals shop our ECP Home Shop products in person felt surreal.
In addition to tagging all of our items and getting the booth staged, I also decided to paint a china cabinet that I found at a local antique mall. I bit off a little more than I meant to (in addition to still being in the process of moving in and getting settled!), but with my mom’s help it turned out perfect!
My best friend from NC drove down for the weekend and having her here meant the world to me! She has such a great eye and was a huge help. (She also has an Etsy shop with custom signs, shirts, and onesies…go check it out!)
The Vintage Market pop-up was a huge success, and we hope to have another one this summer. Be sure to follow us on Facebook to get updates!
